About the product

Is this suitable for all hair types?

Yes, it’s important our products cater to all types of hair, genetic backgrounds and ethnicities, as well as hair concerns.

Is this suitable for coloured/bleached hair?

Yes, the nourishing benefits of the oil make it especially suitable for coloured & bleached hair.
Does the product contain allergens?
The product contains a synthetic fragrance with its list of ingredients outlined in the INCI list. We recommend for everyone to do a patch test 24 hours prior to using.
Is this suitable for anyone with a nut allergy?
This product contains ingredients derived from nuts so may not be suitable for anyone with a nut allergy.
How long will it take to see results?
We recommend consistency with using the product for a minimum of 2-3 months — results don’t happen overnight!
How much should I be using?
Please read our How to use -  the amount you use is at your discretion. Please remember too much oil on the scalp could flood your follicles so be mindful with how much you’re using.
Is the oil safe to use during pregnancy?
The Hair Hero has been deemed suitable for pregnant women.
How long should I leave the oil on for?
We recommend leaving The Hair Hero on for no more than 2-4 hours prior to washing. If you have any pre-existing scalp conditions such as dandruff, we don't recommend to leave it on for longer than 2 hours
Are your products natural?
Unfortunately, ‘The Hair Hero’ is not 100% natural as it contains a fragrance but the 4 key oils are naturally derived. We do not believe this impacts the efficacy of our products.

How much is delivery?

All orders are £3.50. Please refer to our shipping policy.
Which countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to the UK only but don’t worry, we are working on expanding this very soon!
Can i return my order?
Yes, you can return your unused and unopened products within 14 days after the shipment arrival date. Please reach out to customersupport@lumos-hair.com to request a return. For more information, please visit our returns policy.
Can i cancel or change my order?
All orders are final, however please reach out to customersupport@lumos-hair.com within 30minutes of completing your purchase to request cancellation or edits to the address. Please note, this is not guaranteed. Once the order is marked as dispatched, no amendments can be made and we are not liable if it goes to an incorrect address you have entered. Refunds are sent to the original payment method only.

Damages

What happens if my order is damaged?

Should your product get damaged during transit, please contact us at customersupport@lumos-hair.com immediately so we can resolve the issue quickly. You should also inform the delivery company as soon as possible to file a claim for damages and also inform us within 1 working day of receiving your damaged parcel. Please make sure you keep the original packaging and provide us with photos of damage otherwise we may not be able to do anything.

My pippette is damaged/won’t work, what can i do?

If the applicator/pipette is not working then please email customersupport@lumos-hair.com with a video attachment of the issue and a member of our team will assist you within 48 hours.
